Canty Bay House - Bed and Breakfast - North Berwick

Welcome to Canty Bay House, a luxury Bed and Breakfast situated on the outskirts of North Berwick on the beautiful east coast of Scotland. Our cliff top location offers breathtaking views across the Firth of Forth and the rolling East Lothian countryside with highlights including Bass Rock, Tantallon Castle, Berwick Law and the Lammermuir Hills. Our roof terrace overlooks the secluded Canty Bay beach which lies some 150 metres from the property.

The dramatic setting and comfortable accommodation combine to create a peaceful, secluded atmosphere which can be enjoyed by golfers, ramblers, bird watchers or others visiting to explore East Lothian's many attractions. Proximity to the Bass Rock affords artists and photographers an unrivalled opportunity to capture unique images of this iconic island and the historic monument of Tantallon Castle is just a short walk away.

Guest accommodation is located in a self-contained part of the house and includes reception hall, dining room, recreation room and four en-suite bedrooms, three on the first floor with stunning sea views and one spacious room on the ground floor.

Hearty Scottish breakfasts are included and wonderful three course evening meals or packed lunches can be provided by arrangement.

East Lothian is rich in attractions including world class golf courses, historic buildings and beautiful beaches. The charming seaside town of North Berwick can be accessed by road or by coastal paths and its energising beach walks, picturesque harbour and highly acclaimed Scottish Seabird Centre can be enjoyed by adults and children alike. Cafes, restaurants, galleries and local shops cater to all tastes, and in August the Edinburgh Festival takes to the seaside, with the event-full Fringe by the Sea. 

Edinburgh is within easy reach by train, with a journey time of around 30 minutes.
